Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov expressed his condolences to the Minister of National Defense of Türkiye Mr. Yasar Güler, Paralel.Az reports citing the Ministry.

"I am extremely saddened by the news of the martyrdom and injury of Turkish Armed Forces servicemen as a result of a treacherous attack by members of a terrorist organization in the Claw-Lock anti-terrorist operation area on January 12 of this year. Your pain is our pain. We strongly condemn all forms of terrorism. "We always stand by and support our brotherly Turkish Armed Forces in the fierce fight against terrorism. I pray for mercy to the hero Turkish soldiers who died during this incident, share the pain of their loved ones, and express my deepest condolences to their families. I wish God's healing to all the wounded. May God have mercy on them," the Minister expressed.
