Experts from the World Economic Forum (WEF) believe that a multipolar world order will be established within the next 10 years. This is stated in the organization's report on global risks for 2024, Paralel.Az reports citing TASS.

"Asked about the global political outlook for cooperation on risks over the next decade, two-thirds (66%) of GRPS respondents feel that we will face a multipolar or fragmented order in which middle and great powers contest, set and enforce regional rules and norms," the report says.

The WEF question addressed to representatives of the expert community was: which of the proposed options best characterizes the global political situation in terms of cooperation [between countries] in 10 years?

Only 9% of respondents expressed confidence in the preservation of the world order based on US leadership. 10% of the experts surveyed believe in a change in the world hegemon while maintaining unipolarity, and 15% believe in the establishment of a world order based on competition between two superpowers.

The Global Risk Perception Survey (GRPS) has been conducted by the WEF for more than 20 years and is based on a survey of 1,490 experts from academia, business, politics and non-governmental organizations. For the 2024 Global Risks Report, interviews were conducted between September 4 and October 9, 2023.
