At least 3 people have been killed and 33 were injured as a result of a Russian missile attack on Ukraine on the morning of 8 January, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine noted in this regard on X, Paralel.Az reports.

"This unprovoked barbaric attack took the lives of at least 3 people and injured 33. Russia is a terrorist state that must be held accountable for its crimes," the Ministry noted.

Ukrainian forces destroyed 8 attack UAVs and 18 cruise missiles, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny said.

"In total, 59 Russian air attack weapons were recorded," he said in the Telegram channel. According to him, Russia used cruise, aviation, ballistic, anti-aircraft guided missiles and attack UAVs.
