The person searched by Azerbaijan through Interpol was detained in Türkiye, Ali Yerlikaya, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Türkiye posted on his X account, Paralel.Az reports.

The Minister noted that, 18 states which issued an international search for 56 ersons with a red notice through Interpol were detained thin the framework of the " GAFAS-28”" operation: “Operations were conducted in 11 regions of Türkiye for persons wanted by the United States, Germany, Azerbaijan, UAE, Belarus, Morocco, Palestine, India, Israel, Iran, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan, Jordan with a Red Notice. They were wanted for money laundering, immigrant smuggling, drug trafficking, bribery, human trafficking, theft, fraud, and etc crimes."
