The statistical information regarding the operations carried out by institutions involved in demining activities in 2023 in the territories liberated from occupation has been announced, Paralel.Az reports citing Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA).

During the year, 53081.8 hectares of land have been cleared.

It was noted that overall, 3495 anti-personnel mines, 5034 anti-tank mines, and 23049 unexploded military ordnance (UXO) have been detected.
