Russia discusses the presence of peacekeepers in Garabagh only with Azerbaijan, said Mikhail Galuzin, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in his interview with RIA Novosti, Paralel.Az reports.

Galuzin reminded that the peacekeepers were placed in Garabagh according to the Tripartite statement dated November 10, 2020. This document was not cancelled and peacekeepers with the possibility of extension will remain in the region until November 2025.

The diplomat added that after the decision on Garabagh belonging to Azerbaijan, the situation on the ground has changed dramatically as stated in the Armenian authority’s Prague Declaration.
