According to the Turkish Statistical Institute, this figure is 238 units, or 18.6 percent more than in 2020.
In December 2021, Azerbaijani citizens purchased 192 properties in Turkey. This is 37 units or 23.9 percent more than in the corresponding month of 2020.
In December and overall in 2021, Azerbaijan ranked eighth among the countries that bought the most real estate in Turkey.
It should be noted that in December 2021, a total of 7,930 properties were purchased by foreigners. During the year, foreigners from Turkey purchased a total of 59,282 properties.
