Russia and Armenia are discussing new agreements in the field of military-technical cooperation, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin told TASS, Paralel.Az reports.

"In some contracts, indeed, there are issues related to the obligations of Russian enterprises to fulfill the state defense order, but these are working issues that are resolved in the dialogue between the relevant departments of Russia and Armenia," the ambassador said.

According to Kopyrkin, almost all contracts concluded between the two countries in the field of military-technical cooperation were completed on time and with high quality.

The ambassador emphasized that military-technical cooperation between the two countries has a long tradition and is based on the agreement dated June 25, 2013 on the development of military-technical cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia.
