Distance between Azerbaijan and Türkiye to be shortened due to Zangazur Corridor - Turkish Minister

 

“Zangazur Corridor will play a crucial role in increasing the volume of mutual trade. After the opening of the corridor distance between Azerbaijan and Türkiye will be shortened. This corridor also impacts the trans-country relations in the region positively,” said the Deputy Trade Minister of the Republic of Türkiye, Özgür Volkan Ağar during his speech at the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Investment Forum dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and the establishment of the Republic of Türkiye, Paralel.Az-Economics reports.

He noted that the Zangazur Corridor is a strategic plan: “This corridor will provide unobstructed movement and accessibility From China to Europe. As a result of this, cargo traffic will decrease, fast transit will be ensured and the volume of trade will increase. This corridor will have a positive effect on trade in Central Asia."
