“Türkiye is the second main trade partner of Azerbaijan and our trade turnover for 11 months of 2023 has exceeded USD 7.2 billion, which is 33% more compared to the corresponding period of last year,” said the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Mikayil Jabbarov during his speech at the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Investment Forum dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Great Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and the establishment of the Republic of Türkiye, Paralel.Az-Economics reports.

“Türkiye ranks first in the Azerbaijan's investment volume of the foreign countries. This clearly shows the development level of investment partnership between our countries. Our country has invested USD 19.9 billion in Türkiye from 1995 to the first 6 months of 2023. It is gratifying that Türkiye ranks first among the countries investing in the non-oil and gas sector in Azerbaijan,” the minister added.
