Armenia intends to create a training complex with the support of Russia

As Paralel.az reports, with the support of Russia, Armenia will create a training complex for the humanitarian demining forces. Minister of Emergency Situations Andranik Piloyan stated this during the discussion of the draft state budget for 2022 in the Armenian parliament: “This complex will allow carrying out humanitarian demining operations with the participation of units from the region. The project was discussed with the United Nations Development Program and the International Civil Defense Organization. We are negotiating with dozens about turning the center into a regional base. To do this, we are discussing with our Russian colleagues the creation and delivery of an educational hangar complex. It will be possible to conduct not only the Armenian-Russian exercises, but also to retrain the relevant divisions of the region.
According to the report, a detachment of Armenian sappers and doctors is operating in Syria as part of a group of Russian military personnel.
