Iranian, Turkish Presidents held telephone conversation

 

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has held a telephone conversation, Presidential website of Iran stated, Paralel.Az reports.

The Iranian President expressed hope that the joint cooperation between Iran and Türkiye will be a model of interactions between Islamic countries.

"The people of Gaza, through Hamas, must decide for the future of Gaza, and the United States has no right to interfere or make any decisions for the people of Gaza, and any action they take in this regard is doomed to failure," Raisi added.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emphasised the efforts to raise these relations to a privileged and exceptional level, referring to the good and constructive relations between Tehran and Ankara.

Erdoğan also emphasised his country's readiness to hold a meeting of the Supreme Council of Cooperation between the two countries.
