"Mines are terrible. The people of Azerbaijan are experiencing this disaster," Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Azerbaijan Peter Michalko said during the international technical conference on "Combating Mine threat: innovations and advanced practices", Paralel.Az reports.

He noted that the European Union remains as the main partner of Azerbaijan:

"The European Union has been cooperating with ANAMA and other organizations since 2020. The member states of the European Union have also supported Azerbaijan in these important issues. We cooperate with Azerbaijan in demining in 3 areas. Help is being provided to mine victims. We extend our support for a safe return," he noted.
