On November 13, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, co-chairman of the Joint Commission on Bilateral Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco from the Azerbaijani side Jeyhun Bayramov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Cooperation of the Kingdom of Morocco, Co-Chairman of the Joint Commission from the Moroccan side Nasser Bourita during his visit to this country, the Ministry of Azerbaijan told Paralel.Az.

The one-on-one meeting between Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister Nasser Bourita continued later with the participation of delegations from both sides.

Later the 2nd meeting of the Inter-governmental Joint Commission on Bilateral Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Morocco was held.

During the meetings, views on the bilateral and multilateral cooperation relations between Azerbaijan and Morocco, as well as regional issues, were exchanged.

The support of Azerbaijan and Morocco to each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity was recalled.

Azerbaijan-Morocco bilateral documents, including the energy, logistics, and environmental fields, as well as the protocol of the 2nd meeting of the Commission, were signed.

Later, at the press briefing, the ministers made statements on the results of the meetings.
