More than 90 percent of coronavirus infections are omicron-related.
Tayyar Eyvazov, an infectious diseases specialist of the Ministry of Health, reported this, Paralel.az reports.
He noted that within a few weeks, the omicron strain had become more widespread than other species.
"Most active patients are related to the number of people in the outpatient department. The situation in the hospital is stable," he added.
