In January-June 2024, the number of tourists from Pakistan to Azerbaijan increased by 51% and exceeded 40 thousand, said Deputy Minister of Economy Samad Bashirli at the Azerbaijan-Pakistan Business Forum held in Baku, Paralel.Az-Economics reports.

"There is potential to develop tourism cooperation between the two countries. Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) operates regular flights from Baku to Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore twice a week."
