Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan said that Armenia sent written proposals to Azerbaijan to start the process of demarcation and delimitation of borders.
The Secretary of the Council reported that these proposals included the mutual withdrawal of troops from the borders, the deployment of border troops along the border line, taking into account the Soviet map or maps.
According to the Secretary of State, there is no written response from Azerbaijan to this proposal yet.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani side has repeatedly stated its readiness for this process at the level of the head of state. However, in our opinion, the status quo - Azerbaijan - should be taken into account in this issue as well.
