In the coldest province of Turkey Agri minus 32 degrees

 

Nighttime thermometers in Agri, the coldest province in Turkey, showed 32 degrees below zero, reports Paralel.az.
Due to the cold weather in Agri, up to 6 meters of glaciers formed in the reservoir, and the fuel tanks of many parked trucks froze. Drivers tried to start their cars by setting fire to frozen fuel tanks.
Because of the cold weather, the Kars River is covered with ice.
In Erzurum, citizens covered their cars with blankets to protect them from the cold. The fountains of some mosques in the city froze, and glaciers formed on the roofs of buildings.
