As reported, a few days ago, Turkish photographer and tourist Bura Omeroglu was detained by Iranian law enforcement agencies on his way to the Iranian city of Shiraz.
The Iranian government freed Buran after the intervention of the Turkish Embassy in Iran.
According to reports, the tourist planning to go to India on foot was forced to return to Turkey, interrupting the trip after his release.
The motive for the detention has not been established.
