The Russian company Lukoil is reducing its stake in the Shah Deniz gas condensate field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.
Lukoil announced that it has signed amendments to its agreement to acquire Petronas' stake in Shah Deniz.
Under the new agreements, Lukoil's stake in Petronas will be reduced from 15.5% to 9.99%, and the deal value will be reduced from $ 2.25 billion to $ 1.45 billion.
