Keishamaza Rukikaire, head of public affairs for the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), said they were unaware of the issue.
“Azerbaijan has not applied to the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) in this regard. However, if required, the Environmental Program is ready to help Azerbaijan within the framework of our experience and capabilities. We can do this with the coordination and guidance of the UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, ”he said.
It should be noted that the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) coordinates the activities of member states in the field of the environment, implements environmental policies and practices of developed countries.
