Armenian law enforcement agencies have detained 5 out of 10 Armenian servicemen transferred by Azerbaijan on December 4, Armenian media reported.
This news was confirmed by the press secretary of the Investigative Committee of Armenia Vardan Tadevosyan.
“Currently, 5 servicemen have been detained in connection with the initiation of a criminal case on violation of the rules of military service and combat duty, which entailed grave consequences,” Tadevosyan said.
According to him, petitions for the arrest of servicemen have already been submitted to the court.
