Armenia hopes for open communications

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that Armenia is determined to open communications in the region. According to the report, Pashinyan called the deepening and normalization of relations with neighboring countries the most important task when presenting the government's 5-year program in parliament: “The development of regional communications plays an important role in the agenda of discussions with Iran and Georgia. It is extremely important for Armenia to establish a railway connection with Russia and Iran. The issue of opening communications to resolve this issue in a trilateral format (Armenia, Russia, Azerbaijan) is being discussed. Realizing that Baku wants to establish contacts with Nakhchivan, we are determined and ready to make efforts to achieve concrete results.
Pashinin said that Yerevan hopes to resume the process of peace talks under the co-chairmanship of the OSCE Minsk Group on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict: “The agenda for the delimitation and demarcation of the border with Azerbaijan is also important. We are working to create the necessary conditions for this ”.
