The first feature film in space will be shot in October

 

Actress Yulia Peresild and director Klim Shipenko have passed the final exam to create a feature film in orbit at the Moscow Cosmonaut Training Center. According to the report, a comprehensive exercise has begun to examine the main and reserve crews of the Soyuz MS-19 spacecraft. Test crews will be allowed to train at the Baikonur cosmodrome on September 16 after a week's rest. The launch of the Soyuz MS-19 spacecraft is scheduled for October 5 from the Baikonur cosmodrome on the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle. Shipenko and Peresild are expected to return to Earth in the Soyuz MS-18 spacecraft with cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky after filming their first feature film, Challenge, in space by October 17.
