The UN knows nothing about the catastrophic pollution of Okchuchaya!

Keishamaza Rukikayre: "The Azerbaijani state should apply to the UN Environment Program on this matter"

The United Nations has said it is ready to help clean up the Okhchuchay River, which flows through the Zangilan region into the Araz River, from chemical waste.
Keishamaza Rukikayre, head of public relations at the UN Environment Program, said they were unaware of Okchuchaya's pollution levels.
At the same time, he said that the Azerbaijani state should apply to the UN Environment Program on this issue: “But if necessary, the Environmental Program is ready to help Azerbaijan within the framework of our experience and powers. This is under the coordination and guidance of the UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan: "We can handle it."
Speaking all day about the restoration of the liberated territories, why does the Azerbaijani government not inform the relevant international organizations, including the UN, about the environmental problems created by the Armenians?
For information, during the Armenian occupation, the dumping of chemical waste from the Veinali gold deposit and other minerals into the Okhchucha River caused a serious environmental problem in the river - the river water is toxic even for animals.
Although we tried to find out the position of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources on this issue, this did not happen.
