Kremlin explains reason for Shoigu's extended visit to China

 

The Kremlin has clarified the extended visit of the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu to China, Paralel.Az’s Moscow correspondent reports.

Dmitry Peskov, the Press Secretary for the Russian President, explained that Shoigu’s extended stay in China for more than a week is due to the need for regular and continuous engagement across all areas of the special partnership between Moscow and Beijing.

According to Peskov, Shoigu's visit to China is part of an extensive chain of dialogue between Moscow and Beijing at various levels.
