Ukrainian leader meets with Borrell and shares important update
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with EU High Representative Josep Borrell in Kyiv on Monday, November 11, Paralel.Az reports citing RBC-Ukraine.
They discussed the supply of one million artillery shells to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, stated Zelenskyy.
"Today, I had a meeting with the head of European diplomacy, Borrell. Our relations with the EU, our cooperation. Very important news: by the end of the year, European partners must fully implement the initiative to supply Ukraine with one million shells for our artillery," Zelenskyy said.
According to the President, he also discussed with Borrell:
- Further cooperation between Ukraine and the EU
- Increasing military aid
- Lifting restrictions on strikes against military targets on Russian territory
- Unlocking support within the European Peace Facility and completing all procedures for providing Ukraine with $50 billion in accordance with the G7 decision.
