North Korea fires missile, South Korea military says
North Korea fired an unidentified ballistic missile toward the sea east of the Korean Peninsula, South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said on Tuesday, Paralel.Az reports citing Reuters.
The Japanese government also said North Korea fired what could be a ballistic missile.
The move follows North Korea's test last week of a huge new solid-fuel intercontinental ballistic missile, and comes hours before voting opens in the U.S. presidential election.
