Voting continues in parliamentary elections in Georgia-PHOTO-UPDATED

 

Voter turnout in the parliamentary elections in Georgia has reached 41.62%, the Central Election Commission of Georgia released information, Paralel.Az's correspondent in Tbilisi reports.

It was noted that by 3:00 PM, 1,454,837 voters had exercised their right to vote. The highest voter turnout was recorded in Tbilisi (437,426). In Kvemo Kartli, where many Azerbaijanis reside, 142,851 people voted.

Elections for Georgia's 11th convocation parliament are ongoing, Paralel.Az's Tbilisi correspondent reports.

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Georgia has revealed voter turnout figures as of 10:00 AM.

The commission reported that 324,197 people have already exercised their voting rights, accounting for 9.27% of registered voters.
