The Asian Development Bank (ADB) today approved a USD 47 million loan to help Azerbaijan digitize its railway system and improve the safety, reliability and efficiency of the country's railway networks, Paralel.Az-Economics reports citing Bank.

It was noted that through the Digital Transformation Project of Azerbaijan Railways, ADB will support the digitization of the main processes of the national state railway operator "Azerbaijan Railways". These include cargo operations management, asset maintenance and repair, and investment planning.
