Azerbaijan produces minedetector boots-PHOTO
Minedetector boots have been produced in Azerbaijan for the first time, as announced at the V ADEX-2024 exhibition held in Baku, Paralel.Az reports.
It was stated that these boots perform their functions through an easy-to-carry control unit and sensors integrated into the sole. When a mine is detected, the device can transmit a signal to a speaker or headset, depending on the user's preference. The project is currently in the prototype stage, undergoing testing and improvements.
One of the main features of these boots is their ability to detect mines and other metal-constructed explosive devices buried at a depth of 15 centimeters, as well as having the ability to operate for six hours regime. Another advantage is their cost-effectiveness and can be easily transported.
At the same time, their straightforward operational characteristics enable personnel to quickly learn how to manage them.
These mentioned boots also help prevent additional time loss for personnel in combat situations and allow for quicker movement and enabling the completion of combat missions more efficiently.
