For the implementation of construction projects related to the reconstruction and restoration of the liberated territories, 2 more years will be given through direct negotiations when the common mineral deposits located in those territories (taking into account the required types of minerals and their volume) are put into use, Paralel.Az reports.

In this regard, the Cabinet of Ministers made relevant changes in the "List of cases of direct negotiation of subsoil (excluding precious and non-ferrous (including noble) metals, precious stone deposits and manifestations) for use".

According to the decision in force before that, until January 1, 2025, mineral deposits in the liberated territories would be given through direct negotiations. This period has been extended until January 1, 2027.

Direct negotiations will be used as a basis even if the underground areas allocated for the purpose of construction and operation of underground facilities, which are not related to the extraction of useful minerals, located in the liberated territories, until January 1, 2027.
