Heads of embassies, international organizations and military attachés accredited in Azerbaijan visited the Khudavang monastery complex today within the framework of their visit to Kalbajar, Paralel.Az reports.

The guests got to know the monastery complex and the surrounding area.

Diplomats were given extensive information about the history of Khudavang monastery complex, which is an ancient Albanian temple.

It also was brought to attention that during the period of Armenian occupation, the monastery was vandalized, the invaders looted the bells, frescoes, cross stones, carpets and stone inscriptions of the Khudaveng monastery complex.

Other acts of vandalism committed by Armenians during the occupation period were brought to the attention of the guests.
