Azerbaijan prevents Armenian provocation at international film festival in Morocco

Armenian provocation was prevented at the international film festival held in Morocco, the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Kingdom of Morocco told Paralel.Az.

Within the framework of the Issni Nurgh International du Film Amazigh festival (Festival Issni N'ourgh International du Film Amazigh - FINIFA) held in Agadir, Morocco on September 11-15, 2024, 11 films written by Armenian-born Katia Spivakova Saakiants. The one-minute film "All I Need" was scheduled to be shown on September 13.

In the information published on the official pages of the festival and social networks, it became known that the subject of the film is related to the events that took place in the territories of Azerbaijan occupied by Armenia at the time, and Garabagh was shown as "Artsakh" as a part of Armenia. The film also refers to the so-called "Armenian genocide".

In this regard, as a result of the work carried out by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Kingdom of Morocco with the relevant institutions of Morocco, as well as with the organizers of the film festival, it was possible to cancel the screening of the provocative film "All I need" within the framework of the festival, and thereby to prevent the Armenian propaganda that wants to form false information among the Moroccan audience.
