North Korea's Kim Jong Un visits uranium enrichment facility, state media says

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un visited the control room of a uranium enrichment facility to learn about the operation of its production lines, and oversaw a test-fire for a new 600mm multiple rocket launcher, Paralel.Az reports citing KCNA on Friday.

Kim also visited the Nuclear Weapons Institute and the production base of weapon-grade nuclear materials, and set a long-term plan for increasing the production of such materials, KCNA said.

Kim was quoted as saying that he felt "strong" to see the worksite during the visit, KCNA said.

The report did not make clear when the visit occurred.

Kim also inspected the training base of the special operation armed force of North Korea's army to guide a combatants drill held on Wednesday, according to a separate KCNA report.
