In the first half of 2024, foreign direct investment of USD 3 billion was invested in the oil-gas and non-oil-gas sectors of Azerbaijan, Samir Nasirov, director of the Statistics Department of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, said at a briefing, Paralel.Az-Economics reports.

Capital repatriation amounted to 3.4 billion dollars: "Direct foreign investments made abroad from Azerbaijan totaled USD 998 million (0.6 billion dollars in the same period of 2023)."
