On September 5-11, the 19th World Firefighting and Rescue Championship was held in Harbin, People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of the Republic of Azerbaijan told Paralel.Az.

Azerbaijan was represented by the team of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the competition: "Our team that participated in the championship achieved great success. Thus, our team members, who demonstrated vigorous efforts in the battle initiation phase, successfully completed the assigned task in 30.78 seconds, earning them 3rd place and bronze medals. Our team was presented with a trophy, medals, and gifts of the championship."
