Residents of Moscow region are in panic...

There was a massive drone attack on Russian territory at night. The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that since the start of military operations in Ukraine, Kiev has carried out the most massive anti-aircraft attack on Russian territory. Bryansk region, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Kaluga and Moscow regions of Russia bordering Ukraine were subjected to a total of 144 drone attacks.

Paralel.Az's special correspondent in Russia, Farid Akbarov, visited the Ramenskoye district of the Moscow region, which was hit by a drone attack. He spoke with the residents of the 20-story residential building where the drone fell.

Ramenskoye is one of the administrative centers of the Moscow region, located 30 km southeast of Moscow. Along with the cities of Lyubertsy and Kolomna of the Moscow Region, Ramenskoye was one of the victims of a massive drone attack. Thus, drones belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine fell into a residential area in Ramenskoye.

We are currently in Ramenskoe, Moscow region. One of the areas that Ukraine attacked with drones is a 20-story residential building located on Sportivniy Street in Ramenskoye district. The 10 floors of the building were heavily damaged by the drone attack. As a result, a 43-year-old resident of the building was killed and three people were injured. More than 40 residents were evacuated. The building where the drone fell is currently surrounded. Employees of the law enforcement agencies and Rosguard are on guard at the scene. Ambulance and fire engines can also be found at the scene.

Residents whose houses were damaged by the drone attack shared the details of the incident with Paralel.Az's Moscow correspondent.

According to the resident of the building, whose apartment was destroyed by the drone explosion, after two o'clock in the morning, the sounds of explosions started to be heard:

"A drone crashed into our building at around four o'clock in the morning. I looked out the window and saw the explosion wave. We took my husband and ran outside in our home clothes. As a result of the explosion, glass fragments cut my body in different parts. Everyone in the yard was in a panic. The neighbor's wife who died lived one floor above us. ".

"The blast wave was very strong. My husband and I received burns. We are all in fear and stress," said the woman whose house was destroyed.

"I was shocked by the explosion for a while. The air defense systems were also working, they shot down the drones. After the drone crashed into the building, people fell into the street. Everyone was trying to hide. Then the building caught fire," said a resident of the building where the drone crashed in Ramenskoye.

The authorities have announced that compensation will be paid to the residents affected by the drone attack, and the houses will be fully repaired. The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that it will strengthen measures to prevent an UAV attack.

It should be noted that the Ramenskoe district, where the drone attack was carried out, is located near Moscow's Zhukovsky airport. It is reported that Russian aviation centers are located in this region and in the areas close to the region.
