On September 10, 2024, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrey Sibiga, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Paralel.Az.

During the telephone conversation, the current agenda of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine, as well as regional and international security issues were discussed.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov heartily congratulated his colleague on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and wished him success in his work.

It was stated that mutual respect and support between the two countries, as well as cooperation based on the norms and principles of international law, is a source of satisfaction.
