The 2nd meeting of the Council of Ministers of Justice of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) will be held in Azerbaijan next year, according to the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Paralel.Az reports.

According to the Ministry, a delegation led by Minister of Justice Farid Ahmadov participated in the 1st meeting of the Council of Ministers of Justice of the OTS, held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.

After the meeting, the Ministers signed a "Joint Declaration on the results of the 1st Council of Ministers of Justice of the Organization of Turkic States," which was prepared to take into account the proposals of the Azerbaijani side. It was decided to convene the next – 2nd Meeting of the Council of Ministers of Justice in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2025.

Additionally, within the framework of the event, Farid Ahmadov held bilateral meetings with the Ministers of Justice of the member countries, discussing cooperation.
