Death toll rises to 47 and 206 injured from Russia's ballistic missile strikes on Ukraine-VIDEO-UPDATED
The number of casualties has increased as a result of Russia's ballistic missile strikes on the city of Poltava in Ukraine, Paralel.Az reports.
First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska has stated that the number of deaths has risen to 47 due to the missiles hitting an educational institution and a hospital.
She also noted that the number of injured has increased to 206.

Russia has hit the Ukrainian city of Poltava with ballistic missiles, says the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Paralel.Az reports citing Ukrainskaya Pravda.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that 41 people died as a result of the attack.
"According to the latest information, two ballistic missiles were launched. The missiles hit an educational institution and a nearby hospital.
One of the buildings of the Communication Institute was partially destroyed, and people were trapped under the rubble. Most of those trapped have been rescued. 180 people are injured. Unfortunately, many have died. As of now, 41 people have been reported dead," Zelensky said.
