Investments in the East Zangezur Economic Region have exceeded AZN 4 billion, Paralel.Az-Economics reports, citing the State Statistical Committee.

According to the information, last year investments in the economic region amounted to AZN 4 billion 11.13 million. This is an 80.7% increase compared to 2022 when the figure was AZN 2 billion 219.4 million.

The largest investment within the East Zangezur Economic Region is in the Lachin district, totaling AZN 1 billion 550.7 million. The Kalbajar district follows with AZN 919.8 million. Investments of AZN 671.9 million went to the Jabrayil district, AZN 587.8 million to the Zangilan district, and AZN 280.96 million to the Gubadly district.
