Russian FM: French authorities detained Pavel Durov to gain access to Telegram encryption codes
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said that the French authorities detained Pavel Durov to gain access to Telegram encryption codes, Paralel.Az's Moscow correspondent reports.
According to the foreign minister, France took such a decision "on someone's advice." He also added that relations between Moscow and Paris are at their lowest point, including because of France's position on the issue of freedom of speech.
Durov's detention demonstrated that the messenger is "truly protected," Lavrov said.
