President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will pay a state visit to Uzbekistan on August 22-23, Paralel.Az reports citing press service of President of Uzbekistan.

The visit is related to an invitation of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

First meeting of Supreme Interstate Council under chairmanship of Uzbek and Azerbaijani leaders and high-level negotiations are planned to be held in Tashkent.
