Number of boys and girls born in Azerbaijan this year disclosed
Fron January to July 2024, a total of 58,848 births were registered, including 31,306 boys and 27,542 girls, the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan said in response to Paralel.Az's inquiry.
2024-cü ilin yanvar-iyul ayları ərzində 31 306-sı oğlan, 27 542-i isə qız olmaqla ümumilikdə 58 848 uşağın doğumu dövlət qeydiyyatına alınıb.
It was noted that during the months of January-July of the current year, Ugur, Huseyn, Ali, Yusif, Raul, Omar, Muhammad, Murad, Aykhan, and Adam were the most popular names for boys, and for the girls, these names included Zahra, Zeynab, Maryam, Aylin, Ayla, Nilay, Melisa, Fatima, Inji and Malak.
