To prepare for international humanitarian operations, the International Search and Rescue Team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a tactical-special training that continued continuously for 36 hours, Paralel.Az reports citing MES.

The main goals of the tactical-special training that took place in the capital's Türkan and Hövsan settlements were to practice response activities to alarm signals, conduct a "disaster area" march, and enhance the team's knowledge and skills in planning and executing activities in international humanitarian operations based on the guidelines of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) and the International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG).
