The holding of COP29 in Azerbaijan will be written in golden letters in the history book of our country, said Kamran Aliyev, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan, during the Scientific-Practical Conference held today in Nakhchivan, Paralel.Az reports.

"The holding of such a prestigious event as the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change - COP29 in the Republic of Azerbaijan this year will be written in golden letters in the history book of our country," he underscored.

"The unanimous decision of the international community on this is a clear example of the great respect and trust Azerbaijan has in the world, as well as the appreciation of our country's contribution to the protection of the environment and prevention of climate change at the national, regional and global levels," he added.
