The United States has announced an attempt to create conditions for Armenia to abandon relations with Russia, Paralel.Az reports citing Pravda.ru

Undersecretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O'Brien has welcomed the "bold steps" that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is taking, which include "breaking ties with Russia".

“The United States is working to try to create the conditions for Armenia to abandon its traditionally strong relationship with Russia,” James O’Brien said.
