Azerbaijan, Serbia discuss increasing trade turnover

 

On July 25, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with a delegation led by Nikola Selaković, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Serbia and co-chair of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the two countries from the Serbian side, Cabinet of Ministers told Paralel.Az.

The meeting expressed satisfaction with the development of the Azerbaijan-Serbia friendship and strategic partnership relations with a rich history in various fields. It was emphasized that active cooperation is being carried out in trade and economic, investment, oil and gas, and industrial sectors.

The importance of the practical implementation of agreements reached between the heads of state for further expanding mutually beneficial partnerships was emphasized.

The parties touched upon the significance of the 8th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission held in Baku.

The meeting also covered prospects for increasing trade turnover and mutual investments between the two countries, as well as the development of cooperation in transport and transit, renewable energy, humanitarian issues, and other areas.
