Azerbaijan, Türkiye discuss prospects for judicial and legal cooperation

 

A delegation led by President of the Turkish Constitutional Court Kadir Özkaya Thursday visited the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan, Paralel.Az reports.

Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and Chairman of the Judicial-Legal Council of Azerbaijan Inam Karimov highlighted the activity of the Supreme Court, as well as the work done towards improving the judicial system in the country. He said that today the unbreakable ties of brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are constantly developing across all domains.

Karimov underlined that the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the judicial and legal sphere has entered a qualitatively new stage. Emphasizing that one of the main priorities for Azerbaijan is to further enhance the mutual exchange of experience with Turkic-speaking states, Inam Karimov underscored that close cooperation contributes to increasing the efficiency of justice.

President of the Turkish Constitutional Court Kadir Özkaya hailed the bilateral relations between the two countries. He noted that special attention is being paid to the development of these ties.

The meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening the judicial and legal cooperation for the entire Turkic world.

The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
